I had the greatest pictures of my heroes working for Jesus. But I lost them! They are in the camera somewhere. I just can't get them out! There should be pictures of:

  • Club 56 put the boxes together for Operation Christmas Child. They made such a neat pyramid. 100 boxes were taken and packed with Christmas cheer for children all over the world.
  • Children singing "I'm trading my sickness. I'm trading my pain...For the joy of the Lord" Kindergarten has the "Yes, Lord" down really good. The adults always enjoy it when you sing.
  • Many children and Club 56 helped to set up, run, and clean up for the Family Fun Night on Halloween. 300 people came to your party.
  • Justin and Courtney were baptized. I bet someone has a picture of that!
  • 8 from Club 56 have been trained to work in the nurseries. There will be more trained later.

I bet I have forgotten some things that have happened. Write me a comment below about the other things I should add.

Boys' Swim

What a perfect day! The weather could not have been better.
What a great mixture of young men and older men.
What a wonderful group of new friends and old friends.
There is an old song that says, "Make new friends but keep the old. One is silver and the other gold." I've never really wanted silver and gold friends but I would like a dollar. I will give a dollar to any boy who can name every friend who was at the Boys' Swim. You can see the slide show at the right to help you remember who was there. Try clicking on the picture to make it bigger.
I sure hope YOU were there.

Loving God Serving Others

Vacation Bible School was a lot of fun. 106 children attended at least one day. 92 kids took part on "water day". I hope you got to see the slide show on the right of the page?
After the fun is over there is a lot of clean up. The theme for the week was Loving God and Serving Others. Justin and Ella are "Serving Others" with a big smile. Thanks OntarioNaz Kidz. You are my heroes!!

Do You Wear a Helmet?

How many times do you have to be reminded? It is too late to put your helmet on after you crash. Look at the sores on my hands. They hurts soooo bad!

I Was Just Thinking

What would have happened if I did not have my helmet on? I went around a curve, down a slope, clipped a pole, hit a cement wall, wrecked, and slid along the pavement. I have scrapes, bruises, and aches all over the place. On my face a have one bruise. I did have my helmet on! The helmet hit first and my face hit last. I'm glad I was wearing a helmet. Do you wear yours?

Follow Jesus

Have you wondered how we are getting footprints on the wall? Well it isn't easy! As the children ask Jesus into their heart, we have them talk to their parents. If the parents agree that the child has truly decided to FOLLOW JESUS, we celebrate with their footprint on the wall. As we wash the paint off their foot we talk about how Jesus washed His disciples' feet. We tell them that they should find ways to serve others as Jesus did. Some start right then by washing the paint off from each others feet. It is also a good time to talk about the meaning of baptism. Those who are baptised will have a cross painted on their footprint.

Baby Parade on Mother's Day

It was Mother's Day! What better way to celebrate than to invite the babies to come to "big" service. Children 3 and younger took a wagon ride that ended at the alter. They crawled out of the wagon, climbed on the stage steps, and took a walk down the ailse while Pastor Tim prayed for the children and their families. The "amens" sounded a bit different that Sunday. God understood. He has invited the children to come to Him.

Jesus Is My Forever Friend

Sunday was Family Worship Sunday. The children sang for and with the adults. It was really fun. Eddie, what song should we sing next time?

To make it even more special, four children lit the evanglism candles to show that they have asked Jesus into their hearts and asked Him to be their forever Friend.

Prayer Walk

The Caravan Explorer group of 17 children prayed through the Payette Nazarene Church. The church is expected to open June 1st. Some of the things they prayed for were carpet , furniture, and for the children to be safe. Then they got to be the first group to sing on the new stage! Yes, Jesus Loves Me.

Pray Until Something Happens

This is the name of the song that the children will sing Sunday April 20th in big church. It was written by Rob Biagi. The children were practicing today, April 13th. Rob was on DVD teaching the song and the motions.

The exciting part is that after hearing about Rob's daughter Natalie who has leukemia, the children gathered around the altar in the Children's Worship Center to pray for Natalie. Those Ontario First Class Kids are my heroes!

They wanted to see a picture of Natalie so here it is. They can learn more at http://www.robbiagi.com/.

What Does It Mean to Be a SuperHero?

The GoFishGuys have a song that says:"I'm a superhero flyin' around. No need to worry. You're safe and sound. Battling evil, fighting for good. I'm a superhero in your neighborhood."

How does Jesus want us to battle evil and fight for good?

Nine years ago this month Rachel lost her life in the Columbine school shooting. This is what she thought you should do. Was she right?
Eliminate Prejudice by Looking for the Best in Others
Dare to Dream- Set Goals - Keep a Journal
Choose your influences - input determines output
Kind Words - Small Acts of Kindness = HUGE impact
Start a Chain Reaction with family & friends

Is it a bird?

Is it a plane?

Who could it be?

With Jesus' help could you be a superhero in your neighborhood?

Go Fish Video-My New Favorite Music Group

Easter in the Kidzone

Did you see the empty tomb? The children did. The Empty Tomb biscuits that the third and forth grade boys and girls made were delicious. It was a tasty reminder that Jesus has risen.

A great big thank you to those boys and girls who prepared the snack for all the children Easter morning.
